The FUSE Electric Violin Duo Raise The Roof At The Boston Hynes Convention Center.
Despite the worst winter storms for decades, the chill factor as low as minus 20 degrees and nine foot snow drifts the temperature inside the Hyne Convention Center was off the scale. Why? The FUSE electric violin duo were in town electrifying a sold out audience.
What better way to get rid of the winter blues then be thrilled by the world’s leading electric violin group, British virtuosos Linzi Stoppard and Ben Lee, performing some of your favourite anthems.
Flown in from London UK, Linzi and Ben played hits from the Universal album, some new productions like the likes of Bruno Mars and Queen, and a special jam session including tracks suggested by the fever pitch audience.
It was a night never to forget – the electric violinists Linzi Stoppard and Ben Lee are well known for their stunning blend of audio visual entertainment and the Boston crowd were not let down – the show was spectacular, high energy, lots of uplifting songs that took you back to the good times. The auditorium was seated but most were on their feet for the entire show.
Of course what would a FUSE electric violin duo show be like without a demonstration of the world class skills from their very own Ben Lee – officially the 5-times Guinness World Record holder of Fastest Violinist In The World, on both electric violin and classical acoustic violin, Ben performed Flight Of The Bumblebee at an astonishing 15 notes per sec. One lucky fan even got to join Ben on stage to time his incredible feat.
You can hear Ben explaining more about his skills on a BBC interview here – http://youtu.be/k_tQk25pR60
So until the next time in Boston, MA, thank you for an unforgettable night.
