The Awards:
With categories ranging from breakthrough individual designers to innovative design teams and outstanding new retail concepts, these awards take in the full range of fashion from catwalk design to mass-market retail.
Furthermore these are the only awards in fashion that can lay claim to being truly global with entries from more than 50 countries each year.
The international judging panel comprises designers, retailers, writers, photographers, models, style leaders and taste makers. Their expertise helps make these award among the most coveted in the industry.
Each expert is asked to vote in up to four categories each according to his or her particular area of expertise. No judge may vote in a category in which his or her brand is nominated or in which they have a conflict of interest.
Judging is strictly private and no judge knows how another has voted to retain impartiality. Once all votes have been received, WGSN draws up the winners list.
